Viva Las VeGrass is the first multi-day bluegrass festival ever held in Las Vegas and this is our inaugural event. What makes this event so special is that it is also focused on Green Initiatives and will feature a solar powered stage, composting porta-potties, no plastic or styrofoam allowed, major recycling, little to no paper products and partnerships with the Green leaders in our community.
The music portion of the event will feature top bluegrass groups from California, Utah, Nevada, Arizona, Colorado, North Carolina and Ohio. These groups will perform non-stop day and night and will be heard through a state-of-the-art sound system from Techtonic Audio Labs, the first ever bluegrass show to use this technology.
Our Art Fair will feature artisans and craftspersons who specialize in art and products made from recycled and earth-friendly materials and vendors who specialize in green products and services. A large beer garden hosted by Lagunitas and Sierra Nevada Brewing and a “Viva Experience” tent which will be programmed with a weekend full of exciting events like morning yoga, bluegrass instrument petting zoo, green gardening demonstrations and more.
Held on a former golf course turned into the “Jewel of the Nevada Parks System,” you’ll enjoy camping and RV parking along formers fairways lined with mature growth trees, 3 dog parks, 3 lakes, amphitheater, covered pavilions, playgrounds and much more. A sponsoring hotel and casino is only minutes away and will feature eco-friendly shuttle services all weekend.
